DOYOU PLACE
F.A.Q

F.A.Q

What is DOYOU PLACE? This is a place where you can relax and unwind. Everything is built on one principle: more nature, fewer people. Our team taking care of everything is made of Justė and Kęstas, as well as our irreplaceable assistants: dogs Minė&Kanapė, a cat Cooper and two sheep Avis&Mažas in our backyard.

How to find your place? We are located 45min drive from Vilnius or Kaunas. Please use Google (not Waze) navigation DOYOU PLACE. We will meet you on location.

What is the price for renting a cabin? How to make a reservation? You can find prices here and make a reservation on our website

Can I change my reservation dates? Please contact us if you want to change dates or transfer the reservation to someone else. You can change your booking date in no less than 14 days notice before your arrival date. You will get e-voucher (a personal code) which can be used for your next reservation. If you change the reservation date or cancel the booking in less than 14 days before your arrival date, the reservation fee is non-refundable. In that case it’s able to change reservation dates only if somebody else books those dates.

How to redeem a gift voucher? Your voucher is redeemed when booking on DOYOU PLACE website using the unique code (password) on the voucher. Stay must begin before the voucher expires. When making a booking the gift value will be deducted from the amount payable. The voucher is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash in part or full and is valid for a single transaction only. Strictly no extension of the expiry date will be allowed.

What time is check-in/out? Check-in: 3pm or later. Check-out: 11am.

Can I stay later and is there a charge? Because we have the short time to clean cabins, we are not able to accommodate a late check out.

How many people can stay at your place? Can I book a few cabins? Each cabin accommodates maximum two people. We ask you not to book two cabins together with your friends.

If we have the maximum guests staying but other people wanted to stop by and then leave would that be allowed, or would we have to pay for them as well? We are sorry, that would not be allowed. We do not allow any visitors, and do not allow any more people than the maximum occupancy. For the comfort and security of our guests, only registered guests are permitted on the property.

Is your place Adults-only? Yes, our place is strictly Adults-only. We do require that all guests be over 18.

Can we bring our dog or cat? Sorry, pets are not allowed. No exceptions. Our dream was to create pet friendly place. We allowed with pets about a year but it was really difficult to keep tranquility and tidiness. The end point was the day when we lost one beloved sheep because of (not our) dog. So we changed the rule. You will probably meet our dogs (Minė and Kanapė), a cat (Cooper).

Do you have the internet? Yes, all cabins provide Wi-Fi (free).

What about a kitchen? Our cabin’s kitchenette includes a refrigerator/freezer, kitchen sink, a stove, silverware, dishware, cookware, basic cooking utensils, a toaster and a coffee maker of course! Sorry, no oven and a microwave but you will find a grill (+firewood) outside. We do supply basic seasonings like salt & pepper, also tasty coffee, tea, sugar and oil.

Do you serve breakfast? Yes, you can add a breakfast while reserving a cabin. We call it a personal breakfast ritual, because it’s more than just a breakfast. 🙂 Freshly baked bread, foccacia, cheese, meat and other extras, croissants, cinammon buns, good coffee and other delicacies. Breakfast is really rich combining high-quality ingredients. We’ll ask you about allergies or intolerances. A vegetarian option is always available, with a vegan option it is a bit more complicated. Breakfast is prepared specially for you in the morning or afternoon, served in a glasshouse near the cabins.

What about towels, toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, hair dryer? You will find everything.

Sounds like you supply everything. Besides personal items, what else should we bring? You really do just need to bring food, comfortable shoes, clothes, towels for sunbathing and slippers for the sauna.

How much does a sauna or jacuzzi cost? Private sauna time for max 2 persons: 2hours – 60eur. Private outdoor jacuzzi (one session, 2-3hours)- 30eur.

Is it necessary to reserve the sauna and jacuzzi in advance? Yes, it would be better. The service is also available during very cold weather. You don’t need to bring towels or bathrobes only slippers.

Do the cabins have a fire pit outside each cabin? If so, is the wood provided or do we bring our own? A2 and A3 cabins have fire pits. You don’t need to bring firewood.

Is there a lake nearby?  Yes, on our property!

What do I need to know about fishing opportunities? No fishing from our docks (please use a boat). Fishing takes time and it means that the dock is “taken”  for hours. We want everyone to have a chance to enjoy private time here. Please respect that.

How warm are cabins during a winter? Our cabins provide very comfortable living conditions inside the cabin in wintertime. It’s the best time to enjoy the fireplace!

What does the name “DOYOU PLACE” mean?  The expression “do you” means to do what’s right for you, whatever that may be. We know that it should be written as two separate words but we wanted to go against the rules.:)
