We wanted to create a place we couldn’t find ourselves in Lithuania at the time. This meant building modern and stylish A-frame cabins for short-term solitary stays in the forest.
Living in the woods, out of the noisy and crowded city, allowed us to listen and feel the forest better and to fall in love with nature even more. This process naturally reflects on our concept – we want everybody coming here to feel this tranquility and respect the natural ecosystem.
After all, nature has the main role here.
We believe in a holistic concept of landscape and architecture and want to preserve this green spot, while allowing people to enjoy its beauty and slow-paced rhythm. Everything is built according to one main principle: more nature, fewer people. This means that in such a vast area only a few people are staying at a time.
All the accommodation and sauna buildings are results of our imagination and were created here on site. We wanted to bring authentic and aesthetically-pleasing ideas to life based on our understanding, without chasing any models or standards.
The goal was to create inviting spaces: minimalist-designed, with a lot of natural light, simple lines and earth tones. The views from the windows became the most important “decoration”. This combination of modern architecture and nature gives people an opportunity to truly unwind without compromising comfort.
When combined, A-frame shaped houses and unconventional concrete sauna brings a unique experience in Lithuanian nature.
Our team taking care of the whole place is Justė and Kęstas, as well as our family members: a dog named Minė, a cat Ryžas and two sheep Avis and Mažas in our backyard.
